PenJing Nursery was founded in 2006 by Sam, who has over 30 years of experience in pruning, wiring, and nurturing Bonsai Trees. Residing in China at the time, he began his Bonsai adventures. Being surrounded by nature and away from the cities, Sam naturally grew fond of the wide landscapes and dense trees covering the mountains. At just 8 years old, he began nurturing and caring for flowers and plants. A modest start that soon became a lifelong passion. As a family business, we proudly care for more than 500 Bonsai Trees, each being truly one of a kind. With this, we grow a wide range of species, including Chinese Elm, Grewia Caffra, Honeysuckle, Juniper, Rosemary, and many more.
